Invitations to the Lakewood Community to Participate in God’s Love

May 3 - Come walk our Labyrinth during International Labyrinth Day. A quiet day of prayer 

June 21 - Touch A Truck and Car Show. A family day for children and adults to get up close to big rigs and fancy cars. Bring a picnic lunch, so you can relax on our hillside or spend time discovering the joys of the playground.

October 18 - Fall Festival and Labyrinth Walk. Pick out the perfect pumpkin at the satellite Habitat for Humanity pumpkin patch. Enjoy time in a bounce house and other family friendly games. Take in music performed by local talents in the festival area and spiritual enhancing instrumentals covering the labyrinth area.

November 15 - Craft Fair. All are welcome to come and find just the right gift or something you didn’t know that you needed. Many of the booths are filled with unique items created by local hand-crafters.  Relish a morning or afternoon of seeing the creativity that is all around us.

TBD - Blood Drive. Vitalant blood drive. In an hour, you can help provide support to someone going through surgery or surviving a life threatening accident.

May - St. Clair’s - Donations of inner wear from briefs to socks 

June - St. Clare’s - Volunteer your time on a Tuesday 4:30 - 6:30

July - Action Center - Donations of School Supplies from backpacks to white paper

August - Action Center - Donations of diapers for the Diaper Dump from cloth to pull-ups

Sept - St. Claire’s - Donations of sleeping gear from blankets to sleeping bags

October - St. Clare’s - Volunteer your time on a Tuesday 4:30 - 6:30

November - Action Center - Donations for a Thanksgiving meal from cranberries to turkeys

December - Action Center - Donations for a giving tree from balls to water slide
